Redundancy
Your redundancy may be unfair:
- If the process was unfair – including selecting you personally;
- If redundancy was an excuse to dismiss you for some other reason;
- If your duties still exist under a different job title.
These are only a few examples.
Or, you may be entitled to claim redundancy if the employer is attempting to make significant changes to your job role or your hours of work, for example.
You can only go to the Employment Tribunals if you have at least 12 months service. Please see also our sections on Grievances and Appeals (tabs at top of page).
You may benefit from being represented in your claim as there are many complexities in this type of claim.
